Arsenal Thread | 2025/26

I don't know what odds I'd get but I'd put money on them not winning a league title with Arteta.

This year was their chance, City in transition, Liverpool having a bizarre collapse, United with Amorim.

Next season we'll be 10 points better, I suspect Liverpool will sort out their defence too.
They should have won it two (?) years ago, to be honest. They blew a 2 goal lead at Anfield, IIRC. And lost at home to Brighton (or was it Villa?). They're mentally fragile. And that clown in charge doesn't help.

That Lee **** from AFTV, who was shown sulking at full time, claims that Taylor is a City fan and every decision went our way today...

Oh and one final thing. How come Arsenal didn’t play their 100mill ballondor favourite midfielder Declan Rice?

Surely he didn’t go missing in yet another big game

When is this overrated clown going to actually get called out by pundits and the English media

Im convinced his head is too big for his body to be top level pro

Not as in big head /boastful… just got a massive swede

Wonder what Arteta’s training theme will be this week.

I’m going to guess beer brewing. Combining ingredients to create a fantastic product.

Then the week after will be the bottling of it.

I somehow got a video in my feed about Arteta with a light bulb.

Maybe their next training session is how to put power to it?

Got to be honest, I think Arsenal played well, they were a couple of things falling their way away from a result.

when the ball was in play, they played decently, the ball wasn't in play anywhere near enough though, all this deliberate time wasting, diving, playing for freekicks and set pieces is such a poor look. No billion pound squad should be looking to be successful that way. If they play that well for the rest of the season, we'll need to win all our games for a shot at the title. Let's hope the defeat gets to them and they crumble.

I thought they were a lot better without the ball than they were with it. Very good press but long ball/hoof when they had it.

Fucking already sick of hearing how good Arsenal played today. It just shows you how shit they've been all season. We were the better team today, we pushed hard for the win and they countered because they couldn't take the game to us fully. Said it a load of times on this thread and im saying it again if you want to become the Champions of England then fucking well step uo and play like it. Shit house of a team no matter what happens from here on in and yeah they're fans fucked off sharpish at the final whistle.

They played a lot of long balls and virtually all their chances came from balls lumped into the box. Their midfield was non-existent. They were better than the LC Final but that’s it.

That's fair, their press was good although I do think a lot of that was down to us, wouldn't say it was a hoof forward from them, looked to me like a tactical ploy to play down the channels inside the fullbacks when going back to front and lots of switches to open up the game, it caused us problems, could easily have scored 3 or 4 goals on another day.
