Arsenal Thread | 2025/26

Looks like Madrid have picked Arsenal as the next team to pick apart. Madrid podcaster who’s close with Perez saying that they want Saliba , Gabriel and Rice.

Saliba being easier even though his contract is long due to Mbappe being close with him and the French national team connection, They are nearly selling half their team this summer. Madrid are going to have a lot of funds

Rice won’t move he is a home boy

It's about time Madrid were charged with tapping players up, I know it's Arsenal we are talking about here but Madrid are such a vile club they are unbearable.

Full responsibility for this ridiculous development of anti-football, non-fair-play and zero sportsmanship has to be taken by Richard Masters (PL) and Martin Glenn (PGMOL).

They have to explain the idea of this chaos and they have to take the consequences. They have allowed that shite and could have stopped it by a single penalty or ruled out goal respectively.

In case we won't win the title we should do permanent bear hugs everywhere on the pitch as standard 1v1 behaviour and going completely OTT at corners as a show act. Just for fun. We could even ask Villa players to join in to make it even more absurd. Let's see what refs do...

It's clear that Arsenal are essentially Cringe FC.

Should they win the league (they are clear favourites at this point, in my opinion), what cringey stuff are they likely to do? The players all falling to the floor in a choreographed fashion after the final whistle? Rice standing on the centre spot on his knees crying while facing a camera? Choreographed dance? It's clearly going to be performative.

Corners are more like ‘downs’ in NFL now it’s got ridiculous.

ALL dead balls, and even throw-ins within 25m of the corner flag, have become choreographed set pieces, requiring setting up the formation, communicating which set piece this one is, and then polishing the ball.

Should be a time limit OR clock stopped (which is preferable!)

And, when did players stop even pretending to take a fair throw? They don’t even drag a toe on their long throws anymore…they just keep running onto the pitch!

These bellends should be home and dry by now with the league wrapped up.
They was 12 points ahead, 9 points ahead and out of sight for most of the season, the fact these bottle merchants might have to go to the last game to clinch it tells you all you need to know about their mentality.
Plus that Palace game won't be a gimme either.
Glasner's last home game and I'm sure he will want to go out with a bang.
I hope he picks a half decent team as I think this one could be a banana skin for mardarsenal.
It'll be hilarious if, after the reaction to the match fixing at the weekend, the referees now decide to actually apply the rules at set plays meaning Arsenal don't score again for the rest of the season.

I think the real problem now it that PGMOL won't really know whether to stick or twist.

Having once again been exposed as utterly "incompetent" in their management of games, how the fuck do they proceed.

As hilarious as it is in a dark and serious context, their every decision is going to be analysed over and over by the football world, especially the non-arsenal supporters, to see how they " manage " incidents.

I seriously hope that there is so much furore over their standing and operations that they are in an impossible position when appointing / instructing their officials for games for fear of the repercussions of a similar fuck as witnessed last weekend.

And it couldn't have happened to imo a more arrogant and corrupt body of officials under the leadership of Howard fucking Webb.

Appointed under the auspices of Richard Masters to do the bidding of the PL and their cabal of owners seeking to derive an advantage over other lesser clubs.

A House of Cards would be so apt a caption, if it were to come about.......
