Arsenal Thread | 2025/26

god we rattled their followers and players more than we knew. video's of players and fans talking about bottling it and drinking out of bottles then theres the banner Panic on streets of london they've only gone and made a new one saying "party on streets of london" surely weve got no rivalry with a team from south london
their talking more about us than enjoying it and with nearly all teams changing or unhappy with managers they should win it again next season but lets see i guess it wont be fair because teams are defending more next season against them
They're the new Rags. All they can talk about is us but then they will tell you their real rivals are Liverpool and Spurs. Nobody is bothered about cheating bastards little old Ciddy with no fans and a barrel full of charges. Stop trying to create a rivalry and go and take the piss out of Spurs.

Personally, I still can't bring myself to congratulate them on winning the title and considering they've not won it for so long, I'd usually feel a lot different.

Truth is, at least from my perspective is that it stinks. They've been allowed to use NFL tactics at corners all season and it's made a mockery of the game. Nobody has a clue on what's a foul anymore when there's a set piece situation where the ball is getting delivered into the box and it's made the game far worse as a spectacle overall.

They've been allowed to dive, claim, harass, time waste, hack and even headbutt opponents in games with little or no repercussion and the media wankathon on this fucking awful title win is making me sick.

I'm clinging onto the hope that PSG wipe the floor with them and watching those flakey wankers that call themselves supporters turn on Arteta as his flash in the pan tactics are exposed for what they are. There were more than a few whispers of wanting him gone this season, despite being top of the league and unbeaten in the Champions League so the support know deep down that they've been extremely fortunate to have won the Premier League this season. A slight tightening of the rules and they're completely fucked.

This season is the best you'll see of Arsenal under Mikel Arteta and he's just about got them over the line in what's been a very weak Premier League in terms of the drop off in consistency from a number of the usual top 5 or 6 contenders.

Fingers crossed for PSG next week and that there's an improvement in the overall quality in the Premier League next season. That way, this title win will soon be forgotten as if it never happened.

Just hope it's not the red scum that are the ones doing the improving.

Shame we couldn't take them to the final game, they'll be able to rest loads now for the CL final

Once the World Cup has been and gone, and the dust has settled, and the new season gets underway, then we'll see their true mettle. We'll see just what they are made of when every team in the land will want to have a go at the so-called 'champions,' when every team (aside from us) will see them as their own cup final and put in that extra effort to beat them.
12 months from now we'll know. Winning it is one thing, retaining it is something else.

To be perfectly honest as long as it's not the Rags I'm ok. It would have been nice to win it again, but the only pain I'd feel would be seeing those Rag cunts win it again and with that horrible twat Fernandes picking up the trophy. If we don't win it next season then I'll be behind anyone that isn't the Rags doing it.

Congratulations to Arsenal for keeping up an intense rivalry. Demonstrating enormous humility and not even a hint of bitterness. Incredible to think that in the last 10 years Arsenal and City have won 7 EPL titles between them. it truly is a rivalry that defines and eclipses the sport based on mutual respect and marked by the same accomplishments achieved by both teams.

sadly they and few others will be in with a shout as said before only settled sides are villa and arsenal and the tarquins should walk it

Migel Delaney is absolutely obsessed by us.
This week he has reported that Pep is the figurehead of a sports-washing project.
Now it is how Arsenal have overcome our financial might: he no longer considers net-spend (since ours became much lower than others) but states that our wage-bill is five Sakas more than Arsenal's. I don't know that currency - is it a crypto coin?
All this when we didn't win the league; imagine if we had?
Once we clear the charges, City needs to bankrupt him in court for slander and defamation of character.

Honestly thought it would be worse. Rags would rub it in much worse. Anyway, we go again next season.

Probably try but those fuckers have zero credibility so no sane person takes them seriously.

Course PGMOL could give them their all-out blessing and support, exactly like the gooners this season, moving a leg up from the usual gifts awarded every season anyway .

And in the 7th, Mikel finally wins the thing!

Joking aside, how the hell did he keep his job for so long?

Nobody can say it's justification...7 YEARS of nothing more than runners up and hundreds of millions spent for being the nearly men.

Baffles me
But he was improving every year......apparently. In reality, he just hung around for long enough for everyone else to have a shit year. Let's be honest, he should have won it last year, but those pesky scousers had a half decent season and that was enough to beat him. This season, we've shot ourselves in the foot more times that I care to remember, and it's still taken until the second to last game.

If you were that shit you wouldn't have won the FA Cup and Carabao.

Sure it wasn't a vintage City but it was a better City than last season.
