They'll be playing more than 1 game a week though so let's see how that works out for them.

City played 20 more matches than the Rags and Arsenal will have played 21 more matches.

But the point stands. You've got fewer points than you managed in 22/23 (so far) and 23/24. Liverpool won it last season with a pretty low points tally and you're going to do the same. You went from a team that was scoring around 90 goals a season to one that is getting less than 70. Not that you'll give a shit. You won the league and that's all that counts. But I think the point remains that you've won it because everyone else has dropped off rather than because you've improved. This team isn't better than the one that finished 2nd with 89 points a couple of years back, just like Liverpool's title winners last season would be hammered by the Liverpool team that finished 2nd with 98 points.
 
Where can I get odds on Arsenal conceding a penalty or a red card against Palace? I imagine PGMOL won't want them to finish the season with that insane stat and now there's nothing to play for they may as well throw one or both in.

I think there's an element of all the other sides being stronger than ever, plus this Gooner side not being as good as peak City and Dippers sides. That's fine. You only have to beat what's in front of you - only the most deluded Arsenal fans would ever think this team is up there with the greats but whether you win the league with 85 points or 100 points the prize is the same.

My hope is now the monkey is off their back the pressure is off and we can be more expansive. Let's see.
 
I would rather see Arsenal win it than the frauds of Looserpool. Our rivalry with Arsenal is mainly witty banter while Liverpool fans were disrespectful, violant and hateful.
 
Well no one gives a shit about them now, spurs going down will be a bigger story and eyes will be on Pep leaving, two weeks is the World Cup, a bit like the Covid Liverpool season it will be easily forgotten, if they stamp down on the wrestling they’ll be fucked next year.
