I'm not sure this is the get-out that you think it is. Are you really telling us, that in all this time, and with all this money, Arteta hasn't been able to build a squad capable of even trying to play football against PSG? In a champions league final no less?

I’m still laughing at that. The level of absolute delusion / fuckwittery / cognitive dissonance/ outright stupidity to think that Declan Rice is better than Yaya Toure takes some fucking doing
 
My opinion of Spitty has temporarily changed. He is the first person in the msm to come out and say that Arse had favourable draws in the competition and when they come up against teams with a good forward line ( he didn't name teams but he means Real, Bayern, PSG and probably us) that he feels unless they strengthen the squad they will fall short. He's spot on - unlike Gabriel :-).

On a related note I put SSN on at ht in our girls game. That parade and everything about the way the buses are etc just looks cheap rate and shabby in comparison to our parades. North London, I would hate to live there, so cramped.

Roll on next season, Dips, Chavs, Rags ( yes I know) and us will all present a challenge in the PL. And if there is a divine entity they will make sure that for once Arse get some hard away fixtures in the CL league phase and wnd up on the difficult side of the draw in ko's. And we, for once get easy!!

So all that money all that time to build that squad and hes on level trophy count with the raggy bastards :) over the last 6 or so years
