The PL is a huge brand and the thing it needs is a fooking boring negative team winning it ...........the narrative was another team to win it the narrative sadly now will to try to give the rags a helping hand

I genuinely thought we (and possibly the Dips) were the most universally despised club in the country until these last few months.

The vast majority of the nation wanted us to win the title, and as others have said, literally everyone apart from the Pimm’s drinkers wanted a PSG victory last night.

It’s even bigger than that. Anyone who truly loves the sport of football will despise the stain that Arteta and his tactics have left on this sport over the last couple of seasons.

Last night truly was a win for football and the way the game should be played. What is the most sickening though is the total lack of pundits who just refuse to call out and condemn how Arsenal go about their business.

Can they not see how their defeat has united supporters all across the UK & Europe. It’s baffling how it’s just mostly ignored by the media.
 
A million people my arse. Even seen those claims gone up to 1.5m now. People really struggle to picture what that many people together would actually look like. That's 17 times the emirates capacity. You get the entire emirates outside the ground together, you'd get people estimating there was about 250k people there.

If a million people stood shoulder to shoulder in a single file line you'd be looking at something ridiculous like a 400mile long line. That's enough to go from the emirates to the Etihad and back again. The route was supposedly 5 miles long, you'd need a 40 people deep crowd crammed in like sardines along every inch of both sides of the route to squeeze a million people into that route. There was nowhere near a million people there.

They will never have a better chance than this year. Piss easy draw, a semi-final ref who wouldnt give a penalty even if an Arse player cut off an opponents' bollocks, and a very favorable PL run-in to ease the CL match loads.

Their goal didn't come from an attack well crafted by them though, it was jammy handball deflection from a PSG clearance on halfway that set the chance up. I know they're scruffy to watch but even Arsenal couldn't have continued down that route to put the game out of sight.

They played the game as well as they could have done with their style because they knew they weren't good enough to take PSG on blow for blow.
