If you didn't even sell those you might have a problem.I imagine this is the kind of thing your friends from Salford love baiting you with. If its any consolation Arsenal and Spurs fans taunt Chelski about the same thing, but it doesn't really compensate for them being better than us on the pitch. It will end up being the same for the Yaaah-nited lot.

City fans will take a stand if they believe ticket prices are too high , as clubs like Birmingham and Chelsea have found out in the past ...... if rags don't , that's their look out , it's people like them who keep footballs chairmen (including their own) thinking they can charge fans what they like , and rip people off.
£62 to watch a single Premiership is absolutely ridiculous , even obscene , you know it , we know it .... i would be loathe to pay that much even for a cup final ticket ..... what will the same ticket cost next season ..£65-£70???
So far from even attempting to 'taunt' fans who are prepared to stand up for what they believe in , fans like the rags have to query their own mentality .... a misguided mentality that is doing the ordinary working class football fan no good whatsoever !

I agree its obscene, but you know how high player wages are. At Arsenal we can't afford to keep our best players for that very reason. We have the most loyal fans in the country in terms of the financial sacrifice we make for our club.
What are we supposed to do? Stop going and become even less competitive?
You also realise that your club's owners are partly responsible for the high wages. You can't have it both ways.

You`re so typical of every Arsenal fan i`ve had the misfurtune to come across, same old garbage , funny how it`s only now that moneys ruining the game, only now that high wages are ruining the game. Poor old Arsenal cant hang on to thier players coz Big Bad Clubs like City pay too high wages , ah fucking di dums. We`ve been losing our best players for years to bigger & richer clubs and never bleated about it , it`s the law of the jungle , always has been. While you we`re near the top of the food chain all was well. Suppose you think all them young players you stole from smaller clubs around europe dreampt of playing for Arsenal at night while wrapped in thier Frank M`clintock duvets , do me favour, every successful team you ever had was bought and paid for for with big money & big wages we could only ever dream of at the time & you have the cheek to come on here to talk down to us like we`re beneath you, if you know the history of Arsenal you should know not to talk down to a great club like Manchester City.matty barton said:black mamba said:matty barton said:CORRECTION - you didn't take the full allocation of 2,800 to start with.
