Beat who?

MARSEILLE you clown are you blind don't you see that i underline that in your post..FFS GTFO!!!!!!
Didn't see that, was looking for something in bold. Marseille would definitely lose to us, it's a given, they are not even CL quality.

This is the same gooner we had last season gobbing off, just under a new user name lol

Are you kidding? Nothing is a given in football. Especially an away match at the Velodrome. Besides, what determines CL quality besides actually qualifying for the competition? I hope you're not serious, or you are a troll, otherwise it's a little embarrassing.

I think they already won at the Velodrome, the match they have against Marseille is at home.

I'd be very surprised if Arsenal don't qualify from the group now.

Tbh even though Dortmund didn't score I think I would fancy them over two legs based on how the game was going last night.

Imo none of the English teams are good enough to win the competition so it's probably a good thing if all 4 make the knockout rounds to keep England's coefficient high.

Given that we have already won in Marseille, and that they have lost all their matches so far, I don't think its out of order to expect to beat them at home, in the form we are in now.

I think it's a given that Arsenal will qualify now. They are sure to beat Marseille and this means that barring a Dortmund beating Napoli, and then Napoli thrashing them they will go through.

As for second place I think it's going to be Dortmund now. Benitez is an excellent manager in Europe and can make a team very hard to break down. He knows he only needs a draw and will have his team sit back and hit Dortmund on the counter, which is precisely the way to beat them. Dortmund really need a wonder goal or something from a mistake, because I don't think they have what it takes to break Napoli down.

Do you mean to say Napoli?
Hopefully Napoli can get a result against Dortmund or else it's going to be a nervy final day.

You are correct, we beat them at the Velodrome and are playing them at home now. Given the kind of away form Arsenal have been in, you might consider that a disadvantage?

Sure you could expect that, and not be out of order, I just don't like when people say anything is a 'given' in sport, especially football. There are lots of other expressions out there, like saying one team are 'favorites' or the 'likelier team to win', 'look the better side' etc. As a superstitious Arsenal fan I do what I can to keep expectations down as far as possible without being negative about the team, and ward the evil eye, so to speak.

Yeh I meant Napoli. If Dortmund win then does the group come down to goal difference between the top 3, should they all finish on 12 points? In that case Arsenal should be safe and not lose by a big margin. I personally hope Dortmund go through.
