Have they landed on the Moon's surface yet? I genuinely thought this was the whole point of all of this. Fucking waste of time IMO
Apollo 9 and 10 orbited the Moon. 11 landed on it.Have they landed on the Moon's surface yet? I genuinely thought this was the whole point of all of this. Fucking waste of time IMO
Wait till you hear about the robot missions.Have they landed on the Moon's surface yet? I genuinely thought this was the whole point of all of this. Fucking waste of time IMO
It's Venus.
Obviously tempted to have said Uranus.
Just back from a week in Mexico and brown would be a fucking luxury. That would be the great brown star.

Fair enough. I'll pop back then!Apollo 9 and 10 orbited the Moon. 11 landed on it.
Artemis II's mission is similar to Apollo 9's, to test the spacecraft is capable of making the journey. A lunar landing mission is about 18 months away.
CoolAh right I'll get NASA to tell 'em to turn round then.
It all goes back to Sputnik and yank embarrassment over that…they thought they were the best at everything at the time and were humbly put in their place by the Russians.Ask not why they’ve not gone back for 54years why they went in the first place!? To be first! Russia was first into space first with an animal in space a dog!
Now why they coming back again now because China said they are going to put a man on the moon by 2036 but the dark side where there is a possibility of ice, apparently there is massive craters on that side and because the sun don’t hit that part of the moon for long those massive craters have more chance of ice because less chance of melting!
Sorry mate but you are wrong. Apollo 8 orbited and Apollo 10 tested the LEM in Lunar orbit. Apollo 9 did tests in Earth orbit. Apollo’s 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 &17 all landed. Apollo 13 had a service module explosion and had to use the LEM as a lifeboat to get them back to Earth after swinging around the Moon just like Artemis II is doing.Apollo 9 and 10 orbited the Moon. 11 landed on it.

This is basically a recce for a future moon landing / permanent base. They seem to believe a landing certainly is possible in the near future, but they need to ascertain exactly what the surface is like and identify a suitable area.Have they landed on the Moon's surface yet? It seems a bit extreme just to have a wank. Surely there must be a store room or cupboard somewhere in NASA hq that they could sneak into unobserved and spend ten minutes knocking one out?I wonder if the Americans are interested in the dark side of the moon for the next landing so that other countries can't see what they are up to?

I wouldn’t swap my life for any of theirs.I'm not going to tell anyone what to think or feel, but will point out that 4 people are right now doing things far cooler than the majority of us will ever do with our lives whilst we're sat scratching our fucking arses on Bluemoon.

Using up fuel for a rocket to visit a dull grey rock we have already been to would be a start .What a photo. Two auroras. The earth passing the sun. I’m in awe of those astronauts. Earth is such a wonderful planet. I wish some people would stop destroying it.
Jefferson is, lamentably, a flat earther.I bet Jefferson would.
Ive seen the earth before not sure what's so great about it tbh..
