Arthers Bar Lanzarote

Just back from a week in Lanzarote. Watched the Wigan match in the City supporters bar in Puerto Del Carmen. Full of blues great atmosphere and a true blue landlord. All decked out in City shirts and flags

When the team comes out and when we scored he plays the boys in blue through the PA system and Bluemoon at the end.
He gave one of my daughters of his "This is Our Arthers" bar tee-shirts and the other one got a Mancini scarf of him
In there the following night which was funny as his was the only satellite signal which didnt keep failing so were joined by a couple of reds deperate to watch the second half.
Plus good food and beer.

Anyone else been? or planning on going to Lanzarote def worth a visit

I go to Lanzarote every Christmas and New Year mate so obviously miss quite a few games while away but since me and my daughter found Arthur's a few years ago now it is so much easier to take. They used to have a tiny bar just behind where it is now and it used to get hammered.
Arthur is a Gorton blue and a top lad. Beer is usually spot on and the barmaids are good girls. Also if you like a bet he always has the racing on and will take bets.
My mate who is a rag and comes with us every year hates the fact that there is a "City" bar there and won't go in the place which suits me coz he talks shite anyway.

i drove down to Puerto Del Carmen the other week for the Sunderland game with the intention of watching the match in Authurs bar but we did'nt find it.Where abouts in PDC is it.

Well were goin puerto del carmen at the back end of august, i'll definatley pop in for a few.

i drove down to Puerto Del Carmen the other week for the Sunderland game with the intention of watching the match in Authurs bar but we did'nt find it.Where abouts in PDC is it.

Its in a small square set back from the strip also another couple of bars and a fish n chip shop. Just after the casino on the opposite side when the main roads becomes two way . Theres a sandwich board outside the square advertising it. We were staying behind Linekers 20 min walk for us

Been to Arthur's Bar a few times over the years. I was there last October for the Villa match. Full of City and Villa fans with a real good atmosphere. Arthur gave me one of his Lanzarote OSC polo shirts. If you look on his website there are a few good photos! Him and his missus also do a great Sunday roast. See you this October Arthur, let's hope it's derby week!

cheers mate.had a drive down the front road and basically give up trying to find it.was amazed how busy PDC was.I ended up back in Costa Teguise watching the game in bar ran by a villa fan front Brighton???
