He had to take Rodri off, we need him at the weekend, and he was on a booking, and I'm sure one foot out of place he would have got a second yellow. Doku should have finished the game, as he was defending, something Savinho hasn't a clue about, and more worryingly isn't learning about.

The subs weren't the issue, it was City's, not killing the game off, not going for it.

Doku should have stayed on the pitch 100%, Bernardo Silva out wide right continuously is mind boggling.

Bobb done more in 15 minutes last weekend than Savinho has done in 75 against Burnley, Pep seems to like Savinho even though he's a lazy ****, he doesn't help out defensively and offers absolutely nothing going forward.

Yes we had chances to kill the game off, it doesn't take away the fact the for large parts of that game especially the second half we couldn't really be arsed to go and kill the game off, we were happy enough to keep possession and see the game out which is a dangerous game at 2-1.

We done the same against Brighton a few weeks ago and it came back to bite is on the arse, same happened tonight.

It’s been a penalty in Europe for a long while. If you put your foot up that high in the box and someone else can challenge with their head, they will give it.

Doku has a history of muscular injuries and has rarely played 3 games a week for us. Rodri is coming back from a long term injury. Stones is made of glass. Tell me why taking those three off for Savinho, Nico and Nunes is baffling?

Didnt think we were sharp enough in both final thirds all night - Haaland aside. Slow to close down defensively and just nowhere near as precise in attack despite having the ball pretty much all night.

Its not a penalty in a million fucking years but thats a symptom of the modern game - a manufactured penalty caused by Dier going down and pretending hes been shot cleverly forcing the issue, and some twit in a TV room looking to award one - not a cat in hells we'd have got that decision in the opposition box btw. Mustve been 7-8 times in the game a Monaco player screamed and went down holding their face and the twerp with the whistle blew up for every one.

Disappointing as its a game we shouldve won with our eyes shut but if you dont box the game off you are always vulnerable to something as laughably daft as that. Really missed Khusanov defensively tonight I thought and if we'd been better in the final third we'd have scored 4.
