I don't think it weakens us though.
I think Stones, Ake and Bobb will start and Gonzalez deserves another game, plus the presser usually means that Bernardo will come back in.
I'd also like to see Savinho start on the left and see what he can do. It's his best side plus it gives Doku a rest.

Liverpool, Spurs and Chelsea all rotated last night and none of them played well. Two didn’t win, and it could be argued that all of them could have got beat.

We need to finish in the top 8 to avoid extra play off games.

Last season 16 points from 8 games was enough to qualify without play-offs. That is quite a demanding total. Win at home, draw away.

Bernardo spoke in the press conference because he used to play for Monaco and he is the captain of Manchester City.

I wouldn't be surprised if we make 1-2 changes but this is a high priority game. We need to get the points in the early stages of the competition and if we do so, then we can think about resting players in the later stages of qualifying.

Was there in 2017. Not the best of trips, shite result, long wait in the stands after the game, loads of armed police who only created a tense atmosphere, and a shit stadium.

Would probanly need to win the first 4 before thinking about resting players but we have a squad for a reason beyond injuries and I would expect 3 or 4 changes tonight.
