As the Chelsea Fans see it

Just been looking over there (CFCnet) and it seems very similar to here after a defeat. Some looking at it rational while others going on like the worlds out to get them. I have to say that its not just city fans noticing how well citys defence is doing but others are too. Kompany and Toure have become a solid partnership at the back and when teams are coming at us i feel confident we'll see it out.

I may be going overboard here but does anyone else think that Kompany is in the top 3 CB's in the league? He's strong, has pace, can time a tackle, can battle, and can bring the ball out of defence but most importantly he does it all with an air of calm which just stops the oppo building up a head of steam.

I also think VK is one of the best. Who is better? I don't know. I am not convinced by Vidic, I think if he played for any other team he would spend as much time suspended as he would available for selection. Wio is well passed it. John Terry is a prick. Vermalean good with the goals but not as good a defender. I really don't know who I would put ahead of Kompany, but it seems like to say he is the best is looking at it through blue specs.

He is so young as well though, scares me how good he could be.
 
It is interesting how both sets of fans thought the ref had a mare. i wouldnt say we were dirty either. in fact there were a couple of occasions when chelsea were breaking through midfield that i was screaming for someone to put a foul in just to stop the attack

Depends which one you're on about. His block on Drogba wasnt a pen but could have been awarded as an indirect free kick for obstruction. He did however grapple with Drogba's neck when Anelka was breaking down the right and I have seen penalties given for that.

Wanted to add though that he had an excellent game and looked really assured. He has the makings of a first rate defender.
 
They all said our season starts today, heres Chelsea's first test etc etc etc. How right were they? The ref was nowhere near as bad as you lot are making out, got a few things wrong, I've seen worse. No MOTM for me they were all terrible. Had Zhirkov came on for Ramires at HT would it be 0-0? Dont know. But when I said it I received replies to the effect of "sick joke". Well, Man City 1-0 Chelsea....Sick joke? Nope. Seen someone else suggest Ramires is going to cost a goal at some stage and they were right too, it was obvious. Watch the damn match, read the comments and reply accordingly. Would Yossi or Kalou or Lampard made a difference? I dont think so. Congrats Man City MUCH the better side.

Thought this was a very good appraisal of the overall game and it just goes to show not all their fans are numb nuts.
 
couple of good comments praising our defense and that they wont come up against such a strong defensive unit as city again very true.tevez really does have the hoodoo sign over chelsea thats why they hate him so much.reading there forum just shows you how fickle some fans can be.
