Dafuq is this shit
He has joined Al Ain permanently

If he stays till the end of his contract he will have earned almost £47 million net

That is incredible money for a decent footballer

I think Marwood needs to get onto the phone to these guys asap concerning our deadwood.

Good for him. I would have done the same for that money.

He's in his prime and should be going to Asia in the twilight of his career. Still, 47 million is an insane amount of money that he'd probably never see. The question is though, will he still have some semblance of a top-flight career when he finishes that contract?

To be honest, he's a good player but he was never going to be snapped up by the likes of Barca.

£47m wages, probability of winning at least some mickey mouse medals or half that salary (maybe less) and probability of winning no medals in a tougher league. He's still going to get his international caps I'd guess.

I know which I'd choose :-)

Surely we can fiddle one player out under a "buddies deal", even RSC for a couple of mill :)
