stayed up to listen on 5live extra and as soon root won the toss and bowled first i just turned off knowing that we have already loss the 2nd test
just checked the score and they are over 200 and only 4 down yes smith gone but anything over 350 and england will lose by a inings and runs

its just a holiday for the england boys they are not going to bother fighting and they know it and will just bounce us out for under 200 in the first england inings and put us back in anyway but i have put away the radio away for another 4 years and will again hope england can change from top to bottom

Thought England's bowling was poor today. Needed at least another couple of wickets once they had got Smith out to have won the day. As it is looks like they're on for 350 which will be more than enough against us. Not sure why Root chose to bowl.

at game today, can understand bowling first given the conditions but just bowled too short. need early wicket with new ball otherwise can see an easy win if England bats late on second day. normally very difficult to bat on in evening with the pink ball but it didn't seem to do much tonight

This is just frustrating but that's the way it's going to be all series. Yet again we got into a good position in perfect conditions and weren't good enough to make it count. If you can't skittle this middle/lower order out under the lights on a cloudy day in Australia then you might as well pack up and go home because conditions don't get any better than that for a traveling England team.
