Our climate does not help us to produce hard fast pitches and hence the lack of really quick bowlers.
When we finally find a real quickie we flog him to death until his body packs in.
The wickets also stop batsmen developing a proper technique to cope with chest high deliveries and they end up dangling their bat at the ball.
You get a bang ordinary spinner who can bat a bit and he goes straight into the test side, get a proper spinner for the wickets away from home.
This current Ashes side is only going to get worse in the final two tests as the Aussies have our number.

The 4th Test starts tonight.
Mostly the same players that have been poor in the previous tests.
Broad and Moeen in particular with the ball.
Could do with Cook & Root standing up here and showing their mettle.
