"Aspire to be MCFC" flag apeal

What a great day today !

Bit tired as ive been at the etihad since 8.30am laying out foils in the north stand, hope it was well liked.

We placed a 14m "inspire to be MCFC" flag in block 110, looked great. It was paid for by fans donations and cost £190.

We would like to use the flag again, but it disappeared after the game.

Please could anybody let us know if they so the flag go somewhere or if somebody has it stored safely for us. If you could reply on here and if somebody does have the flag we would meet you at the next home game and get you a pint for looking after it :-)

Not sure if fans took it or stewards.

Superb by the 1894 Boys and Girls doing this but your work still goes unnoticed which is a crying shame.

Asked all around me if they knew who had paid for and organised it and all thought it was the club!

I will certainly look to get involved and donate asap.

It didn't say that , I don't think. I hope not anyway because that doesn't make any sense. I thought it said 'you aspire to be MCFC' in reference to moyes' comments last year. Very good, I thought too

Looked all over for it in 110/109 but couldn't find it.

Cant see it being pinched, probably just removed by Showsec and stored away

yes correct the flag was "YOU aspire to be MCFC" in reference to Moyes. Typed the thread on my phone in a rush and it spelled out incorrect.

All displays today paid by donations and fund raisers kindly done by fans, a massive thanks to all that donate and there has been more donations today.

30 of us went to the stadium at 8.30am, the club supplied 20 of their volunteers and always work with us to help with stadium passes / storeroom, some great guys there.

The flag that is missing is made out of a thick material with brass coloured metal holes to tie up with..

Fingers crossed it will turn up, so far the club have searched and asked around but nothing.

I thought that actually was nice. but it was just f*cking stupid to have lots of BLACK cards on a dark night. with sky blue background I think it would've been great.
