Stop playing Walker at CM.

Give Alvarez a run over Foden now.
Walker trying to pass between the lines isnt working and hasnt done since the start of this season....he is a great player but its not working moving him inside and is inviting teams to play wide with pace.....

Do that against Spurs next week and Son will do his usual to us and grab at least one.

That was a flat performance from first to last. Particularly after the superb display in midweek. They set up narrow from back to front and we did not have the usual overloads. Meant we needed to rely on quality from the flanks and other than the goal we didn't have it. I was sure that Pep would bring on Alvarez in an attempt to shake things up but…..
Not a disaster but frustrating to lose points against what was a very limited team. Our basic defending is still not what it was.

I see the usual utter cunts on here spouting shite.
Yes, disappointing result and 2 points dropped. We created enough chances to win that easily. Kev left his shooting boots at home today, should have had a couple, and EH wasn't his usual deadly self despite notching. Obviously saving Alvarez for Tuesday.
Villa back to being shit next week without a back 10.
Onwards.

Someone said I must be blind because I said Kev’s radar was off. Didn’t say he played badly. He hit the bar, and had a chance to score after. Also played a slightly short pass to Ake with a Villa player close by and bad pass close to the end.

I’m always happy to converse on the performance of a player but with people but now I remember why I hardly do it with people despite it being a forum.

With that said, that felt like a tough draw to swallow. Felt like the precedent of the match could be seen after Kyle failed to find Haaland within 5 minutes. A lot of sloppy passes as well. Rodri gave the ball away a number of time; not his best game but his shot wasn’t too far of securing a win too.

Just glad Coutinho didn’t win it for them. Pep will make sure to remind them of focusing on one game at a time but I doubt the lads were thinking about the champions league while trying to win a game against Villa.

I’d like to say it’s one of those games but it feels slightly disappointing as Villa haven’t been great at all.
You are blind. KDB produced the goal, Gundo's clear chance in the first half, two great shoots(one that hit the bar), a pass to Haaland, a great 1&2 combo with Haaland, and he was the only guy breaking Villa's defense. He was far and above the best player

This season is going to be weird. None of them look fit and that's deliberate so they can last with this weird world cup.

That being said, a few of them didn't seem arsed. Felt sorry for Kev and Haaland tonight. Nobody else showed up.

Also, I'm a defender of his, but Ederson has to make more saves

Bad day at the office today and fortunately we got away with a draw when Courtinho's goal shouldn't have been disallowed. Fortuanetly the ref blew beforehand so VAR couldn't get involved. The games are coming thick and fast so hopefully we can get that performance out of our system against Sevilla.
