Aston Villa (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Yeah caught between a rock and fuckin hard place for the Everton game.
I've been, almost, begging for Pep to take off the blinkers and play at least O'Reilly and McAtee (least they've been around things). But Everton/Dyche might not be the time.
We have been pedestrian in our last 12 outings, but where does the pace/athleticism come from ???

I think the Everton game has to be won by any means possible, if that means Youth with Energy and Hunger and getting a result then it's a no brainer. What can not happen is players walking around and doing nothing, Even Bernardo Silva is hiding and ghosting and that is saying something

What's frustrating to me is that Pep is persisting with the same players who are letting him down. Walker, Lewis, Bernardo and Gundogan have been so below par yet they're playing whenever available. Playing Bernardo wide right means we have zero threat. Gundogan can't even run faster than a jog and the less said about Walker and Lewis the better.

I don't understand why Pep is continuing to persist when they're not going to magically flick a switch and turn it around. The results are not getting better so you may as well use the likes of Wright, O'Reilly etc. If you lose games playing some youngsters it's at least better than persisting with guys that are clearly done.

The old days.

If this internet thing existed 30 odd years ago it would be a quality matchday forum.

FFS Frontzeck.
What exactly does Creaney do?
Get rid of fucking Edgehill.
Does Ball have a plan B, the ginger ****?

But we knew our level back then, Players on £400.000 a week ghosting and walking around is a major problem

It's so simple and clear the best thing Pep could do right now is bring in some Youth, It's how a youth system works or the EDS system should work,
Yup I'd have a lot more sympathy with Pep and the team right now if Mcatee, O'Reilly, Pusey and the others were getting real minutes in so we could see what they offer and if they're up to the level we need. It'd also give some of the burnt out players a proper rest and maybe the kick up the arse they need.

That’s my issue with Pep at the moment, said it a couple of games ago about the definition of insanity, he’s done it another couple of times since. It’s fucking pointless.

Gvardiol - £77M? £77 fucking M? You're having a laugh
Lewis - A vicar's fart could blow him over
Gundogan. Just go. Your reputation is being ripped up
Stones, likewise
Silva. Where is he?
Frustrating watching Haaland living off NOTHING

I'm not even confident for Neverton

Pep must be the most stubborn individual, ever. Ray Charles could see where we are going wrong, but nothing changes.

McAtee must be fucking good at Sudoku
