And it's been said before, you think they'd be able to keep shtum if they did. No chance.I've mentioned it before, and I hate repeating myself, but has nobody seriously considered they know the outcome of the charges? Surely it can't be shit form, injuries and a lack of drive at the moment?

70% seems a little over the top.Can you name a manager who can get effective performances out of a squad where 70% of his players are either injured or unfit? Anyone at all
Unlike yourself I’m not purporting to be a massive blue - I don’t feel the need to do so to be honest - and I readily admit that I don’t have all the answers because it would be silly to believe that.A super supporter like you shouldn't need any help as you clearly have all the answers.
And don't let Monkey Man get even more pissed if you care for fellow supporters. You know it makes sense.
There is at least two managers in the somewhat modern era that didn't have shelf life, and remained competive at all times for most of their career. There is no reason to believe that Pep, an absolute genius isn't more like them, and less like the others.Every manager has a shelf life for whatever reason.
I think most of us would take a result and performance like that if it was in isolation. But this has become our level at the moment and in all honesty it shouldn't be.Defeat in isolation at Villa isn't bad. They are a really good team and difficult to play there .
Its the manner of the performance, set from the first seconds.
Terrible run, tough opponents away. Keep it tight for 15 mins and grow into the game. We literally give them a clean run on goal from another mistake 10 seconds into the game and should have been behind but for 2 great saves from Ortega. On the back foot straight away, and never got off it.
Body language after the first goal was terrible, all looking like they would rather be Christmas shopping than at villa park, no leadership, no rousing of the troops.
The league is toast, but still so much to play for, but something has to change, quickly. If O'Reilly can't get a game in this midfield then he never will.
