Agreed but you can understand the motto if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I doubt many in decision making positions at the club saw this coming at least as dramatic as it has for if they did I would expect they would have addressed it earlier.

If they did I would be more concerned they did little if anything to address it.

Pep deserves to call time on his tenure here but clearly the squad is a spent force now and maybe it will be a blessing in disguise that that the decline was so quick as much as it stinks now.

I thought Haaland came in for a lot of undeserved criticism on the match day thread today. He is a player who thrives on service which he has just not been getting this season. Without KDB he is not getting the ball played into to the danger zone where he thrives. Instead we are lobbing high crosses into the box or playing the ball into his feet when he’s surrounded by two or three giant defenders. It’s no surprise he’s struggling.

Whilst we desperately need to replace Rodri we need to find another KDB if we want to spark Haaland back to life.
