I'm sure they think that the players they are buying do match the ambition of the club. However as of yet we have not seen sufficient from any of them, apart from D, to say that there is a genuine class player in them.
 
It's not exclusive to today but it was on full display today. I cannot be the only one that is getting increasingly fucked off the our inability to make a tackle. Some are worse than others but its too many of them for it to be an individual issue, everybody will chase the ball but hardly anybody will put their foot in and make a challenge.

It's as if they're only playing Rondo's or no contact sessions in training and take that into the match with them. The amount of times i'll see somebody chase down an opponent have an opportunity to make a tackle but instead they just stand there and almost wait for the opponent to play it hoping to force a mistake instead of making a challenge winds me right up.

this is such bullshit I don't know why people accuse me of this, go back to my comments and you'll see that couldn't be far from the truth.. I am sick of the harrassment i get from you people don't you have anything better to do?
 
Oh and we are the only club in the PL that hasn’t scored a set piece goal this season.

What does the new set piece coach do all week ?

Wingers that don’t score and impotent at set pieces.

It’s a miracle we are in the top 4
 
Started off well, but sloppy in the final third. Need to score when on top in games like that, because it's never going to last all game.

I can't stress how important it is that we add quality wide options next summer. There were several people on this forum saying they didn't want Rodrygo because we had Bobb and Savinho. Utterly mental analysis. This is why you don't judge football on just stats.

Exactly i keep saying on here that Savinho is wank and keep getting abused.Stats can make anything and anyone look good.Your eyes do not lie.
 
bloody awful performance. putting stones to sit in centre midfield just clogged up that area, he had no effect on the game and lost possession or gave a bad pass whilst waving an gesturing that all his team mates were not showing for him. No holing midfielder, reindeer hadnt a clue bout positioning, wejust got overrun in midfield as they were all upfront pretending to press which they gave up after 15 mins. please pep stick to a more settled side with players playing their positions in a system theyre comfy with. Too much tinkering !

If you can’t see Nico and Kova aren’t fit enough for such a high intensity game I can’t really help you mate.

O’Reilly should’ve been in CM from the start, I mentioned that in the pre match thread.
 
Sad to see how poor our players and our method of play is. Slow and boring. Players can’t seem to do the basics like even sprint. Nobody appears to tackle properly anymore - simply barge into players or hold them until the whistle goes and then look surprised when they are penalised. So disappointed in Reinders. No idea of how to pressure a defender when they are in their own box - just bundled into them and the pressure is released. Schoolboy mistakes - just no intelligence whatsoever. This team gives me no hint of excitement anymore, boring buildup which rarely gets anywhere near goal, and considering we have the striker we have, who Pep says we are trying to find more and more, just leaves me speechless and depressed. Stadium will be a wasteland soon.

For the Watkins clean through chance Donnarumma should have dealt with that easier than he did as the ball was in the box before Watkins reached it.

Of course both teams had chances during the course of the game.

They made numerous blocks in the second half which were as good as saves. And the reason Onana got man of the match.

In my opinion, which is all it is - if we play that same game again we would score a goal more often than not.
