Great win - hard work in the second half and Fernandinho and Rodri both looked tired and made mistakes they don't normally make. Could have done with making a change, but not a game to throw Lavia into, so they had to survive. Yet, for all Villa's endeavour they didn't create anything as everyone worked hard and did what they needed.
Dean is a strange one - lots of soft fouls for Villa - similar pushes on our players ignored. Yet when he could have given them a penalty he didn't and could have booked Cancello and Fernindinho for numerous fouls.
But the moment that game will be remembered for was Bernardo's goal - perfect break - incisive passing and a sublime finish.

Ake and Zinchenko had a good game.
Sterling was at his best for the first 60 mins. Mahrez and Jesus were not at their best.
Dias, Fernandinho, Cancelo and Rodri had a few shaky moments.
Ederson was very good tonight.
And Bernardo was excellent again.

Well in blue boys, We were far the better team in the first half, Second half we conceded early and it gave Villa in extra spring in their step. We dug in their and got the win we deserved. Our lads showed huge balls tonight away at Villa Park against an in form team under the lights and got the job done. This is why we are the Champions of England.

Villa should not have been anywhere near us, but 2nd half we ceded possession too easily in centre mid areas which gave them confidence and they were aggressive to win some 2nd balls. Of course Dean gave them a lot of help but once City got the ball down on the deck we do look awesome. Ball was in the air too much for my liking. But, 3pts and onwards and upwards
