Aston Villa (A) - Post-Match Thread

Clearly we tired second half after 4 games in 11 days with very little rotation but we managed that game really well. Dean gave them everything and us nothing. Privileged to see one of the goals of the season by Bernie and if Gabby had swivelled and stuck that one in during the second half then I'd have been on cloud 9.
 
Big 3 points, have to admire the ability to dig in and grind it out but my word we were shit. They're distinctly average at absolute best and we spent 45 minutes holding on against them. Lots of substandard performances tonight and then Bernardo.

Big sigh of relief, take the 3 points and hopefully get a few back for the weekend
 
Crackin first half, went off the boil a bit in the second but still got the job done, dean was shite and what was the villa fans singing "Im villa till.. Im not/I drop/I want"
 
Three points. Just wish we could finish more of the chances we create so it’s not always so nervy.

Considering how many injuries we had though and the most biased refereeing I’ve ever seen that’s a very good win.
