I think the reason lm starting to get a bit worried and nervous is because, if we capitulate and miss out on the league, you know the fucking scum are going to win it, any other club winning wouldn't be as bad

This team won 21 games in a row this season, it's not going to blow an 8 point lead with 6 games to go. It's not the same as 2012 because we had the chance to take points off United which they don't have.

Pep took a calculated risk against Leeds because we had such a substantial lead and because resting first choice players would give us a better chance of beating Dortmund and we did. He isn't going to keep taking that much risk with league games now that lead has been reduced. I guarantee Pep will play a strong team against Villa and if he thinks United are still a threat when Palace comes around, he will play a strong team there too.

We will get over the line and probably with a couple of games to spare.

Totally how I see the situation. The 2012 comparison stuff is nonsense.. there is no head to head left. They are needing us to slip up three times without a say in the matter. What do people not get about this?

Plus goal difference meant the 8pt lead the rags had was more like 7!

We are 8 clear now but they make those up and we still win the title on goal difference. Do you rest for Villa with 8pts in the bank or on Sunday when a cup is at stake. After yesterday's showing you have to go full strength v Spurs.

I think Pep will mix and match though. Walker, Dias, Foden, De Bruyne ( if fit), Rodri, Zinchenko/Cancelo and Stones he will know can play two big games back to back. So they might sit out against Villa.

Momentum is a big deal to Pep, so he won't want the team being two games without a win going into next week's final. Maybe he'll leave one or two our who might need the additional rest with PSG in mind, but I'd expect a strong team.
