Given our recent run it’s hard to be positive ahead of this game.

So many out, so many coming back that are at risk of breaking down that we can ill afford.

We just need to dig in but Villa away is a tough one. I’m hoping that a full week of prep might be enough for us to find a performance.

At some point in this run surely we are going to stop gifting the opposition two goals per game?

Come 1230 tomorrow I’ll still get the feeling that we’ll pull a result out of the bag, come on to fuck City!
If playing a sub standard team today and getting the ones close to fitness in against Everton then so be it. We just can't keep rushing players back only for them to be out for another 3 to 6 weeks. This is an unprecedented injury list and we just need to wait until they're 100% fit, otherwise it'll be a spiral of doom which won't end until we get new heads in..whenever that is!

What? Maybe not in January but surely 6 or 7 are on their way sooner rather than later and it wouldn't be that hard to name that number.
No chance it's 6 or7, it just doesn't happen.Possibly 5 plus Phillips. No more than that though, even that's a bit of a stretch and will only happen if a couple of players ask to leave.

Knowing our luck af the moment the bus will break down, the driver become ill and the spare drive trip whilst taking his position and break something.

Don’t disagree with that logic, but players are always desperate to get back and help out.

I’d take a battling draw today and hope that we can get wins against Everton and Leicester ahead of the window opening.

Who knows we might even sneak a win today!
