If Grealish was match-fit and in a run of form, I'd want him to play. I think he's got the character for it.

But he was ill and injured throughout the international break, and the personal life stuff going on as well... it's not worth it. We need to be easing him back.

We'll just have to wait for him to play a part in thrashing them at the Etihad at the end of the season.

Interesting fact about Villa, they won the European Cup 40 years ago. Proper ‘history’ club.

Villa are on a par with Forest same size club and both won the European Cup when you had to win four games on a two legged knock-out basis , their behaviour at Wembley a couple of years ago was abhorrent , been many times to Villa Park and the only bother i had there was with West Midlands Police absolute wankers. But that day at Wembley was nasty , quite sure its the lies and negative media coverage we get that inflames some of the hatred from opposition fans.
 
With our lack of options, Villa’s resurgence under Gerrard and the sideshow of Grealish’s return to Villa Park and the atmosphere that will generate, I don’t think a defeat is out of the question. I think this will be our toughest game so far this season, we look a little bit jaded and this is a game where we simply can’t afford to be.

Running on fumes, yeah I’d say that makes the game extremely difficult. We need to freshen the team up a bit after the last week but we can’t really. Not too much. So we’re asking Bernardo to keep on running when really I’m sure Pep would love to rest him.

What happened at Wembley? Don't recall seeing any trouble myself but afew on here have said they encountered some issues.
