The grandad's fell asleep when Doku came on and it looked like all momentum had fell from the game. I was gearing up to pretend a point was a good result. but three points are huge right now with how tight it is for the CL places.

Late winners are always a treat
 
Thought overall we had played very well in 1st half. Very soft penalty really knocked the stuffing out of us.

I criticised Stefan coming on it for a 1 on 1 with rash foot, but he narrowed his angles and big nose shot into the side netting.

Nico played well as did kovacic, Marmoush a decent handful, Gvardiol easily our best defender, Nunes had a bit of a mixed game but brilliant shot from an acute angle, proper redemption arc. Bernie was much better in midfield, lovely goal.

As for them what a bunch of time wasting crybabies, not very likeable at all. Martinez self proclaimed best keeper in the world, lol.

Hope we're hungry on Sunday!
 
Said it before Pep possession football with control negates the end to end manic games it ain't that entertaining for most fans but it's how pep defends against teams! If you have the ammo on the bench late on in the games to try to win it it's the way to go!

Thought we settled for a draw too in the last 20 minutes, Doku's run for the goal was the only time someone tried to speed things up.

They did look organised at the back but we played practically the whole game in front of them so we hardly pulled them around the pitch.

I thought they offered very little going forward - apart from that run from Rashford they hardly got forward in the second half and the subs didn’t really make a difference for them. Other than that big lump getting skinned for the winner that is.
 
Nunes and Doku might’ve just secured us the Champions League spot—hoping that’s enough to land us Wirtz!

Deadly win tonight. Poor performance, poor from Pep, poor referee but we found a way.

Fantastic goal between Doku and Nunes to get us over the line.

Think it’s going to be very tight that was a huge result.

You not understanding pep control possession football negates all teams if we do it right
 
Add Akanji, Haaland, Rodri, Ederson replacement, Stones Ake or replacement, Bobb, Foden back to form, Khus settled in, Nico G, plus new signings, LB RB AM CM, plus academy U18's
