Doku had an end product! Can beat every defender 30 times over but never delivers. Well, he delivered when it mattered! Awesome! Was about to turn off and go to bed in a strop.

He's an incredible impact sub, but has to learn to adapt his game to play over 90 minutes

He made the difference again tonight as I said he might in the pre match thread

Really happy for Nunes. I’d keep him think he can definitely do a good job as a utility player. He’s really good on the underlap/overlap - movement good and great crosser aswell.

Let’s be honest, that was a crap game - no sugarcoating it. But credit where it’s due, that goal from Nunes and Doku at the end was big. Could be a massive step towards securing top 4.

Great result, performance better than many hear were saying during or before the game. Villa been on fire lately and is a strong team.

If I didn’t know any better, out of all the players on the pitch at that moment, McAtee would’ve been my maybe first pick to try that lob over Martinez. Hes been great with this kind of sneaky goals. Had a pretty much tap-in too. You can't write off such a good football player after just a few weaker performances, but there’s no mercy—James has to play better. Let us down today.

For me O'Reilly, Bernardo, Gvardiol, Kovacic, Nunes very good, Omar a little lower. Gundogan much worse than against Everton. Great assist by Doku.
