Aston Villa (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

That game was one of the reasons it was time for a change. Too many players of insufficient quality, another half-arsed second half performance.

Roll on next season, with hopefully a fresh start.
When Guardiola plead ‘give me my players’, I thought it was just give me fit players, but I’m increasingly of the opinion that it meant give me technical players. The moment we were forced to stop playing his way, we were forced instead to play to the strengths of the opponent. I’d like to think that the new manager can reinvigorate this crop of players, but it’s not going to be easy.

Crying my eyes out, and I am glad he is leaving.
What a monument he is, fantastic.

Huge responsibility....well said Pep

You sir have done what your hero Cruyff did at Barcelona - painted the cathedral, for that tradition to remain and for the players that step through the door to carry on with that tradition with committment and passion

Not sure that's called for today sir.
Respect your opinions, and always have, but today had nothing to do with a result/performance.
Simply a celebration of what 3 people brought to our club.
Think the lineup simply reflected there was nowt to play for. I will agree some out there really did themselves no favours though
Good job the supporters turned up then.

Hopefully they all understand the players point of view.
