Luck along with the inevitable decisions favouring the hierarchy teams. Though what happened with the disallowed Real Madrid goal against LiVARpool, makes me wonder as Real Madrid would seem to be top of the hierarchy. LiVARpool got similar game changing decisions in the league and cups.

In theory a team could win the Champions league by losing six games ( 3 group matches and 3 legs in each of the knockout rounds) .This would equate to losing 46% of the matches in the competition. There is no way that a team could lose 46% of its matches in the premier league and hope to win it.

Somethings seem pre ordained such as the way Pablo Zabaleta scored against QPR when the ball loopped up in the air after the save, over the goalkeeper and dropped in the top corner of the net. Same with the way the ball arched towards Kevin De Bruyne and away from the defender. There was still a lot of work to do and KDB had to be alert and determined. It was a magical moment. CHAMPIONS!

Sunday was emotional for me anyway as I lost my dad and I wanted him to be there with me and he wasn't, he never will be now.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad. My dad died a long time ago. I know he would be extremely happy about what is happening with City. What you wrote about some posters agreeing with you reminded me of a poem. I can't remember it exactly but it goes something like this,

Two prisoners looking out from behind bars, one looking at the mud, the other looking at the stars. Look to the stars mate. Best Wishes.

I remember a drawing of two prisoners behind bars and the words at the side. It might have been a meme? The sentiment is the same though, thanks. The Pretenders are a brilliant band.
