Well looking at the forecast I doubt the game will start.
Or waterloggedI thought games were only postponed due to weather because it was deemed unsafe for the supporters around the stadium.
Absolute nonsense.Well looking at the forecast I doubt the game will start.
I thought that was a thing of the past in the premier league with all the new pitches.Or waterlogged
I thought with all the money we have we'd have got a retractable roof like the one at Wimbledon.Plus, even if the drainage isn't up to it, can't they drag a tarp over it before it starts pissing down?

I don't remember the last time I saw a game cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch.

I think we've been Clarkied mate.Same, I can't remember the last time we had a game called off because of a waterlogged pitch? Also, the weather was supposed to be horrendous today but it wasn't that bad (bits ot drizzle and light rain rather than the heavy rain predicted all day). I really don't know why people are convinced this will be off
Pmsl. Best of the day that oneI thought with all the money we have we'd have got a retractable roof like the one at Wimbledon.
At least if it was closed we wouldn't lose any balls when Sterling takes a penalty
The last one I remember was 1993/4 season against Ipswich, funniest goal scored that day when the ball stopped in a massive puddle.I thought that was a thing of the past in the premier league with all the new pitches.

Dias has come close a few times now - can only be a matter of time before he heads home a corner or free-kick, surely ?I hope they are rusty as they haven't trained in some time so this could be a chance for us but I will not write them off!!
We still have rusty players in our side with Walker and Jesus being the most rusty since they came back from COVID. I hope they get back to their form soon
I worry for Jesus cause this was his chance to shine and he is not able to do much. Aguero has been out the whole season and Jesus is unable to deliver. He is not a natural striker and this is what we are missing right now. Luckily we have other players firing now and I hope we see Dias score his first City Goal tomorrow
EdersonVilla are a decent side and this will not be easy. Will be interesting to see how their Covid hit squad perform, but if we play well we should win.
Ederson
Cancelo Stones Dias Zinchenko
Rodri Gundogan Kdb
Sterling Jesus Foden
i was there that day, 500 mile round trip for an abandoned gameThe last one I remember was 1993/4 season against Ipswich, funniest goal scored that day when the ball stopped in a massive puddle.
