Ake on the bench again can someone explain why this is happening

Makes a certain sense for this game. Stones and Laporte are better centre backs. Cancelo is our first choice left back. Not really a place for Ake once you’ve pick those others.

We don’t want to be watching Ake at right back having to run round the ball to put a cross in for a game that is a must win.

I’m sure he’ll be first off the bench if needed.

I was expecting them to bus park. The DJ slapper attacking us the way he did against his team.

Should open up gaps and hopefully goals to finish the job.

Martinez out is a biggie.. he’s a good shot stopper and on his day a real problem if you want to score against them.
