Just looking we have won the last 8 matches with Villa and 11 straight at home against them. We have to be confident.

Does one draw really put people in a bad way on here?

We all support Manchester City, I’m 28 so have seen a few typical city moments in my life but I’m sure other on here are much more well versed in what we can be like. But make no mistake what we’ve witnessed over the last few years is incredible, we are without a doubt one of the best teams in the world. We will win Sunday, we will win the league again. Let’s go City.

People thinking Gerrard will rest players against Burnley are having a laugh. Absolute barm cakes. It's Villa's last home game, the fans will want an opportunity to thank the first team players.
Think people work it through something like "well he's a fan of Liverpool, and I'm a fan of City, and I'd do everything I could to get City over the line". I think they forget, though, that being a player and manager is a very different thing.

Forget all the Gerrard this, Coutinho that, Ings the other. We really should be beating Villa at home, roared on by our half-empty stadium, to clinch the title, no matter what other people might want to happen on the day. No excuses City, just turn up and win in style.

Villa can be a tricky side to play against, and our defensive injury woes make this match closer than it would normally be.

Nonetheless, the quality of our team, playing at home, with the huge incentive of being guaranteed the title if we win... we should have more than enough for them.

Keep as much of the ball as possible and keep creating chances, and it'll come.
….and spend a bit of time this week working with our makeshift defence on playing offside
