Love all this chatter about Ings, Courtinho and Gerrard pulling out all the strings to best City and doing LivArpool a favour….but what about Douglas Luiz ??….might he not score an own goal to help his former team out or indeed do a Kelechi Ihenacho and miss a sitter ?? LOL.

Everybody stop worrying... there is absolutely no logical reason to suggest the result will be anything apart from a comfortable win for us

The main advantage for us here is 2 things.
1/ Villa play on Thursday
2/ It's against Burnley and it's their cup final.

We will win on Sunday.
Disadvantages:
1/ Gerrard got a slip to make up for and would love to park the bus and let LiVARpool clinch it.
2/ Villa players and fans would love to put Jack in his place for leaving by robbing him off all titles.
3/ Coutinho and Ings will love to help his cult-asthmatic buddies.

What's Darius Vassell doing these days?

If you had given me the option of a win against Villa at home in the final game of the season to guarantee the title last autumn I’d have snatched your hand off.

We could have had it in the bag already but this is where we are. I’m supremely confident (for what’s that’s worth).
