Thought Rico and Gvardiol had good games too

Foden, but Doku, Lewis, Rodri and Akanji were all excellent as well. Could and should have scored 8 or 9. Best we’ve played in a while. The team selection and shape had much to do with it. Vintage City….

Some great performances tonight, but for scoring a brilliant hattrick, it has to go to Phil.

Phil gets it hands down but that team performance was absolutely what we’ve been needing to help build momentum.

Rodders, Rico, Josko and Jack bang on it but everyone was very good.

Foden was absolutely unplayable tonight and easily the MOTM.

That said, I thought Gvardiol, Lewis, Grealish and of course Rodri did very well.

One person who deserves some credit is Ortega, we don't miss Ederson when he plays.
