The game for once will take second fiddle , acknowledging the extraordinary contribution of Pep to our club and the service of Bernardo and Stones is the only thing i will take away on Sunday , end of an era , and cant wait for the beginning of the next chapter in August ,the gloryhunters might leave if we have a couple of barren seasons , but true blues wont be going anywhere.

Wouldnt worry about the Goons , they are a one season wonder , the league in general cannot be so poor again , the Dippers will revitalised under a new manager , Villa will improve and we are only a couple of players away from a very good team , even the Rags might give us a run for the money under Carrick , St Beneathus day might go to the last couple of games again.

The game will be played at testimonial pace but it’s not about the football. It’s about 2 absolute legends leaving the club and one man who is probably one of, if not the most important Person in our history.

I don’t give a fuck about the title or even winning the game. This game is about a thank you from 57000 blues to Pep, Bernado and Johnny……Johnny Stones.
