Why does their owner never get any stick in the media?

He came along in 2006, put some money in, they got into the top 6 under O'Neill then he turned off the tap, leading to them becoming a selling club and currently needing a miracle to keep them in the PL. Yet our owner puts in money, builds infrastructure and regenerates part of the city, takes us to titles yet gets dogs abuse.

Villa fans arent happy with Lerner, havent been for a long time and have been letting him know recently, despite their bitterness (waving money at Barry etc) they would love our owners, there arent many fans that wouldnt if they were totally honest.

The press is another matter, there's not many column inches in saying Lerner isnt all he seemed initially, and they arent bitter about Villa going down the table, like they are about us going up it.

Because they were losing a lot of money by doing that.

They put in an investment and wasn't getting any returns on it.

Not according to the pricks on villa talk. Every time they talk about us on there, someone always mentions that they would hate to buy the league and "lose their soul". Which is fine with me. They can fuck off to the championship and take their soul with them.

I did put, if they were honest. I know quite a few Villa fans, good match going lads, they would all love what has happened to us, they come out with 'lose their soul' shite as a form of defense because they know Lerner has lost all interest now. After 2012 I was out with a group of them, they were all captivated by me explaining what that day was like, and the over whelming verdict was, they wished it was them.

Ridiculous sacking, not for the first time at Villa.

Just been informed (by one of the season ticket holders I was talking about in my above post) that Lerner has spoffed £25m on recruiting and sacking managers alone since he took over. Although the figures are higher, it reminds me of our dark days when we always seemed to be paying off someone, whenever I got a look at the accounts each year. Percentage of our turnover was probably higher in our case than what Lerner has wasted.

New manager or no new manager, we should still leather them!!

Dwight Yorke could be ref with Dion Dublin and Lee Hendrie as linesman - we'd still batter them!

I don't really care about the new manager, he's still got Guzan, Lescott and Richards trying to keep the goals out and Agbonlhor trying to score them. Not a good combination
