I believe so, I thought Bruce might be looking for the England job as it was apparently between him and BFS last go around, taking the Villa role would sort of rule him out of that.

As a compromise, how about Doggymore and Yorke as the dream team?Colin is outdated and an utter cnut will fit in really well with that club, plus all the Villa fans I know hate him with a passion. I dont want Family man to tarnish his reputation anywhere, because I want the scum to 'give it Giggsy till end of season"
I like the idea of Yorke as number 2 though, his razor sharp mind and tactical nouse will make him perfect for that role.

That is a dream team for most of us, the stuff of nightmares for Villa fans, the dogger can shout at them all while Yorke offers his usual insight. What could possibly go wrong?
