Been saying this for weeks. Money isn't a golden ticket, strategy at board level along with good recruitment is fundamental. Newcastle fans are getting giddy but already the place is a clownshow if they appoint Howe.

I often think we were a bit of a bull in a China Shop with some of our initial buys but was important to make a statement and moved us on to bigger things. Combination of signings of Tevez, Barry and appointment of Mancini was our major Catalyst.
 
I think him wasting all the Grealish money will not have helped. He told everyone that they now had a lot stronger squad which was obviously complete nonsense.
