Listened to Talksport and Villa fans calling in and mentioning about their european cup and that they are a big club etc….
If you weren’t aware, and you have been to a game v Villa, i think they may have mentioned about winning the European cup once or twice :-)
Anyway, i had a spare 5mins and had a look at the gruelling european fixtures/results which they played….5 teams they had to play.

My question directed at the more mature blues who were around during this time is, how did we not manage to win at least one?

Forest won it twice on the bounce and Liverpool won it a few times! Were we that bad?
