Getting ‘the monkey off our back’ by winning our 1st CL, is absolutely marvellous.

Shutting up Villa fans with their 40 year old nostalgia for their one European cup trophy, is a nice cherry on top.

We’ll probably never hear the end of united fans showing 3 fingers, or Liverpool fans waving their hand, but who knows what the future holds…

Chelsea fans, as far as I recall, don’t seem to go on and on about their CL achievements, despite beating us 3 years ago.
