Asylum Seekers Merseyside

You think the government are going to let a lot people in the countries and let it be all over the news that these things are going on? Get real.
Why wouldn't they? The Tories have been trying to build a case for being tough on asylum seekers for years. Why would they suppress stories that would only make their case stronger?

No I’m just the kind of person who doesn’t think “trust me pal I’ve seen some videos” is an adequate standard of proof that there’s a serious ongoing problem.
It was a joke mate :):):) I always find them what are about to say something but before they say it they say I’m not racist but ‘Yes you are’

There’s video evidence all over, you won’t see it on bbc news though

“Complaints” eh? Like the 4000 complaints that got hidden in Rotherham, like the hundreds in Telford etc etc complains mean nothing, they get hidden. And they were already people living here.

You think the government are going to let a lot people in the countries and let it be all over the news that these things are going on? Get real.

Not sure how to directly put videos on here, but I’ll give it a try in a bit, multiple of them standing outside schools trying to talk to young girls, some following a 7 year old girl, some taking pics of little kids in shops, and then people wonder why they’re wary about who is being bussed into their neighbourhoods…

Of course most will probably be decent and it’s a shame for them to get caught up in this. But when the government are allowing mass asylum seekers, most men in their 20s who come from a very different culture on how they value women and kids, not knowing who these guys really are for the most part, then bus them into a neighbourhood and you get multiple incidents like mentioned above, you’re just asking for friction.

As I said, I’m a descendant of people who come to the UK and I like the multicultural aspect of it when it’s done right but if people are truly seeking asylum, why are they going through France to do it? That’s a safe country isn’t it? Answer me that..

They’re hell bent on getting to England because we are soft here. They know that and wanna exploit it and then because of that you start to run into big problems and create a backlash
Put the vids up and let us assess the credibility or otherwise. The one on page 1 that sparked off the knuckledraggers showed nothing, a very selective clip

Sounds like the kind of made up gossip that got people lynched in the 50s.

Where are the official complaints to backs this up?
Unfortunately you don't have to go back that far.

Just under 10 years ago. Olive skinned immigrant, false accusations of being a paedophile, murdered and set on fire.

It's irrelevant, really. I wonder how often the average 15 year-old girl gets perved over or propositioned by blokes in their 20s who were born here. Rule one in the racist handbook is to suddenly give a shit about vulnerable women and girls, when you've never taken an interest in their welfare on any other issue.
It is a racist trope that goes as far back as the American civil war. During reconstruction after the war the KKK used the threat that Black men were a danger to white women to justify their outrageous actions and led to the segregationist Jim Crow laws.

Unfortunately to have an opinion on immigration other than welcoming as many as possible with open arms gets you labelled as a fascist far right thug
What a foolish statement. I am anything but a far right fascist thug yet I favour controlled immigration. Immigration must benefit the UK for it too work. This thread though is not about Immigration, its about Asylum seekers.
You must apply for asylum if you want to stay in the UK as a refugee.

To be eligible for asylum , you must be a refugee who has left your country and be unable to go back because you fear persecution. Immigrants can go back to their original country because they are not in fear if persecution.

The definition of a refugee according to The 1951 United Nations Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees is:

“A person who owing to a well-founded fear of being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group or political opinion, is outside the country of his nationality and is unable or, owing to such fear, is unwilling to avail himself of the protection of that country; or who, not having a nationality and being outside the country of his former habitual residence as a result of such events, is unable or, owing to such fear, is unwilling to return to it.”

In the UK, a person becomes a refugee when government agrees that an individual who has applied for asylum meets the definition in the Refugee Convention they will ‘recognise’ that person as a refugee and issue them with refugee status documentation. Usually refugees in the UK are given five years’ leave to remain as a refugee. They must then must apply for further leave, although their status as a refugee is not limited to five years.

Some facts,

  • At the end of 2021 around 89.3 million people were forcibly displaced across the world. Of these, 27.1 million were refugees, whilst 53.2 million were internally displaced within their country of origin.
  • 72% of the world’s refugees are living in countries neighbouring their country of origin, often in developing countries.
  • Over 6.8 million people have fled conflict in Syria, and many more are displaced inside the country. Türkiye is the biggest refugee hosting country in the world. At the end of 2022 Türkiye was providing safety to 3.7 million Syrian refugees. By the end of February 2021 the UK had resettled 20,319 refugees from Syria under the Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme (VPRS). This includes 239 refugees who were resettled prior to the target of 20,000 being set
  • The top ten refugee producing countries in 2021 all have poor human rights records or on-going conflict. People seeking asylum are fleeing from these conflicts and abuses, looking for safety
  • In 2021, more than two-thirds of the refugees and Venezuelans across the world came from just five countries: Syria (6.8 million), Venezuela (4.6 million), Afghanistan (2.7 million), South Sudan (2.4 million) and Myanmar (1.2 million).
  • There is no such thing as an ‘illegal’ or ‘bogus’ asylum seeker. Under international law, anyone has the right to apply for asylum in any country that has signed the 1951 Convention and to remain there until the authorities have assessed their claim
  • It is recognised in the 1951 Convention that people fleeing persecution may have to use irregular means in order to escape and claim asylum in another country – there is no legal way to travel to the UK for the specific purpose of seeking asylum
  • The 1951 Refugee Convention guarantees everybody the right to apply for asylum. It has saved millions of lives. No country has ever withdrawn from
The UK is home to approx. 1% of the 27.1 million refugees who were forcibly displaced across the world.

The constant blurring of lines between asylum seekers and Immigration is what the Far Right do, it others people, and causes division, then creates hatred. Why do they do this, probably because many on the far right are white ethno-nationalists and even believe in white supremacy.

Unfortunately you don't have to go back that far.

He was disabled as well, I think. He was basically a harmless eccentric and was murdered for it. Not that I don't think him being Iranian played a part in it.

And of course Collett is a paedophile. People like him who obsess over noncing often are, it's projection. Of course, fucking a child is perfectly OK if you're white according to twats like him.
