We were in the same boat yesterday... the difference being.. common sense.

We rang the ticket office to ask whether we could buy for someone with 5000 points whilst we ar in the cup scheme. they said no. so we knew yesterday the problem and that it wasn't possible.

forethought.. took 5 mins of my time.

Ah Sherlock!

I went to the ticket office last week. Spoke to.......(can't say his or her name)

Explained my circumsatnces. "Don't worry, common sense will provail." Came the reply. Hallelujah I thought. The ticket office has finally.............(fill in as appropriate)

Don't worry, I have a cunning plan. It's fail proof. To be continued. ;-)

so... common sense? maybe write a letter to the club? im sure they will appreciate feedback positive or negative.

making a thread on bluemoon benefits noone. maybe you feel better in the short term but if you tell the club they may put it within the news next time

The club swear by BM. It's there insight into the whacky world of most City fans.

Not wishing to tempt fate, but I expect to be in the next match programme, on the video screens along with Hugh, and wheeled out at the next Points Of Blue Meeting. Fortunately my suit is already pressed and ready for the forthcoming meeting with Mansour.

On to more serious matters. Does anyone think there will be a long queue at the Chinese Takeaway?(I'm starving) There's 5 of us, but they only do set meals for 4. Arf!

I start threads that get stacks of input, sometimes, and loads of times i have people joining the thread that would blow my knowledge outta the water, people like Digits, Bulgarian Pride and Allanharper etc on the UFO and Space threads, and i fkin love it because it means i learn more and get different slants on things, could'nt give a fig who starts what thread, it's all good bro. Wembley here we come, i hopeso anyway as i only have 2800 points. :/

I do the same Buzzer. It's more of a hobby. I take everything onboard, be it negative or positive, and then put it through the cheese grater.

Bang it on a bit of toast and a smattering of Worcester Sauce, and you have a tasty supper, over to you Mate, catch. (soz mate, i can't stop talking as if im Alan Partridge, i did it at the checkout in Iceland today and infact find myself doing it more and more, worrying really).

Two of my mates went down today and queued for 6 hours and got 12 £50 tickets altogether, sorted.

How can you follow that? Perhaps a sprinkling of Parmesan?

The club will never win with some. OSCs have been around for years. Its not a new thing. The constant whingeing about OSCs is boring because no particular OSC is ever named and shamed as breaking the rules. It is all rumour mongering. Loads on BM believed that those supporters that had attended early cup rounds deserved a ticket. The club listened and those on the CDS were rewarded. Those with high loyalty points got their wish. The criteria was made very clear for day one sales. The club IMHO did a great job today. Some people will never be happy!

And a nice glass of Directors whilst listening to Radio 4s debate on the pedestrianisation of Norwich city Centre, it does'nt get much better, superb stuff.

Not necessarily, could have checked the criteria before going and done the following -

any one supporter can purchase up to six tickets, using valid, qualifying Seasoncards. To purchase tickets on behalf of other supporters, the buying supporter must be in possession of each of the respective cards at the time of booking and be prepared to answer a number of security questions relating to each of the card holders including date of birth, postcode and card number.

which gates were everyone queuing at outside?

when they open the gates obviously no one all dashes in and tramples over everyone, how did they organise it all?

few mates said it was organised brilliantly, but didn't really expand on how they did it.
