We also need a cut in VAT,stupid red tape slashing and government projects in transport, green and IT projects accelerating.
Greece`s tax avoidence, 22bn euros is dragging it further into the abyss and Spain,Italy and Portugal are all trying to push further austerity onto there already desperate people.
And lets not laugh at France`s 75% tax rate for the rich!Yeah that`ll sort them out??!!
My friend has just come back from Ireland and said its like there isn`t a recession going on there. Everyone is spending and the whole place is alive with business and sales. He did say that the poorest are struggling whilst the middle and upper class (his words) were buying there way out of recession but the general concensus was that they are getting through it all without too much fuss. Maybe thats the Irish mentality,Just get on with it?
