I can understand that as all three are excellent at ball retention and our slender lead means that the balance of our game tilts towards possession, as we need them not to score more than we need to score ourselves.I think Gundo, Mahrez and Grealish all come in.

Possibly Cancelo will be rested to avoid suspension. There will be some surprises in the starting line up for sure but Pep has five (six with extra time) substitutes to play with. My prediction is a 1-0 defeat but with City levelling on the night in extra time to go through on aggregate.

I think Bernado might be rested for Gundo so he can be fresh for Saturday. He puts more miles in than anyone and is vital against the scousers, ratting in a deeper position.

It is definitely more important but it’s a different game, so I’d have Gundo, Marez and possibly Grealish in as a double whammy.
