Kippax Corner were class today.

When ‘Follow You Everywhere’ got going second half, Liverpool fans were doing this weird mocking-the-disabled sort of action when City fans sang the ‘awoooooo’ bit, thinking they were being funny… yet that just seemed to galvanise the City fans in 110-111 and they sang it for a good 8 minutes non-stop.

Lpool fans were quiet as a mouse for a good while after that.

How many times did their own players have to keep geeing them up? Bit odd seeing as they are coasting to their first ever PL title they will actually see in the flesh.

The back third of 117 seems to be where all the singing comes from in SSL1 these days.

I've been in block 111 for 15 years now. There's always a decent atmosphere. It's got a core block of fans that are there week in week out and we make noise. I think there's 'fans' that read online about the atmosphere so get tickets in the SS.

111, 110 and 109 are getting back to how they used to be. SSL1 is falling off.

I am being honest, I thought it was truly awful and im literally on the barrier in 114. We even heard renditions of "we forgot that you were here" and a couple of others songs mocking their poor support throughout the game. Those songs don't typically come out against the dippers.

That’s the view I got. The kippax corner we’re getting louder throughout the second half.

The rest of ss1 has fizzled out atmosphere wise. It’s not working as a ‘singing section’. The corner and ss3 consistently make more noise

Kippax Corner were great in the 2nd half yesterday but don't try and tell me they're like that every week mate because they're not. Other weeks it's 114/115/116/117 trying to get it going in SS1 and there's hardly a peep out of Kippax Corner. Yesterday - in the 2nd half at least - it was the opposite, so no, the Kippax Corner doesn't make consistently more noise.

What I would say is that there are too many snobs in both 114/115/116 and Kippax Corner who won't join in with songs started by the other section. That's childish and pathetic.

No doubt that great performances on the pitch equals a better atmosphere, that goes for every fan base . It just feels so soulless now , all the reasons why are covered time and time again on the forum .

Oh I know, and then getting treated differently going in the game makes it even worse.

Searched twice by security going in yesterday, steward said we are doing it with everyone.

Called him a liar, the two people in front he just patted down and let in were my father and bloke who sits next to me.

They all went quiet on 60 mins, seemed to get nervous till 85 when game was safe

They are having the same away people we are. Loads of Liverpool tourists getting away tickets. It certainly wasn’t the usual Liverpool away end. Saying that, they were shit last season as well.

Liverpool fans were pretty shit on L1.

Some singing at times during that match, but neither constant singing or really loud singing.

I thought 111, 110 and 109 were excellent today, especially in the 2nd half.

What has happened to the South stand?

Bar some loud moments, it was pretty quiet again, with different parts of SSL1 singing their own songs.

Will the person at the back of 115 please stop banging that piece of metal which sounds like a snare drum. It's fucking all the chants up.

Looking on the tv it seem the dippers hadn't sold out lots of empty seats
