Never understood how they get a reputation for having a good home atmosphere like most grounds in the country it’s Quite most weeks

Neither have I.

Bar one chant of Everton, Everton.... every now and again, total silence.

I actually felt sorry for the Everton players having to play in that silence during most home games.

One thing I noticed yesterday in the away end. The large group of youth who were near the front of L1. They were getting loads of songs going from that location, which isn't easy.

It just shows how a large group of youth together can create and improve the atmosphere.

Unfortunately the directors aren't factoring that into NSL2 as far as we know. Yet another own goal from the directors, who are more concerned about increasing match day revenues, rather than improving the atmosphere at the Etihad.

I'm as sceptical as anyone about what the club will do with the new North stand, but in a statement released on September 26th regarding seating configuration, they said "The stand will feature a broad range of seating options, including a large rail-seating area, family areas, and dedicated areas for younger fans". We clearly need them to put more meat on the bone, but this is something we should hold them to.

Don't forget the paucity of the cladding

It’s like a fvckin morgue at times tonight, I swear it was louder when we were halfway up Division 3 at Maine Road.

Lower South Stand on the concourse supping ale 10 mins before half-time again …. I know I’m old, but I find it heartbreaking when the players need us the most in such a tight game!!!

It's been good in parts.

Villa haven't been great either.

Martinez isn't helping the atmosphere with his time wasting, the thick f*ck!

The 2nd half was miles better. I'd have hated to be a Villa fan in the SSL1 away end when that winner went in.

I'll say it to this day. The away end on SSL1 is the most intimidated away end when SSL1, blocks 111, 1110, and 109, and the Etihad all sing together.

SSL3 was fantastic second half, not sure if it was planned but the blue moon pre match cut out the fast tempo second verse which was good as it's dire. Onto wembley we go
