Atmosphere was wank yesterday. 1230 k.offs are notoriously bad but fuck me that was shit.
Somebody mentioned Tourists. The monster we have created willl always attract newcomers. Haaland fans,rather than City fans.
I had one sst behind me literally slating Lewis for 90mins. The **** nearly got told. Entitled prick.
Oh on another note, the 1000s of fans fuck off with 10-15 mins to go need to give their head a wobble. The team needs us and people head to the exits on boxing day...Do me a fucking favour. Do not bother coming. Would you leave the cinema with 15 mins to go? Its pathetic.
If you can't take whats going on at present thrn you need to seriously give up football.

Those early leavers have nothing to do with current form , it's happened forever even when we haven't been beaten at home for over a year, also their reason for doing so in none of your or my business
 
The comparison between the Etihad and Anfield yesterday was stark, but Wolves and Newcastle made it even worse.

I’m not there, so it’s not my place to complain about the noise, but on TV it was desperately poor and noted by the commentators.

Boxing Day, early kick off, cold, Everton…there’s loads of excuses, but it looked and sounded poor.

So get the tickets on the exchange and give someone else a chance to go. It's just possible a few hundred of the 8,000 extras we are hoping to attract might be willing to stump up the silly prices being asked.

On a day with no trains on Boxing Day, the club are relying on the local fanbase who they’ve dislusioned with prices and priced out. Their answer to that was to put adult prices at £66-78 and child prices at £38-42. Who’s paying that at Christmas? The Cheshire set, maybe?

Put prices at £30 for adults and £15 for kids, and a family of four could have gone as a Christmas family treat for £90.

I had five mates go to the El Civico yesterday (Wythenshawe v Wythenshawe Town) instead, four of them are Blues. There were about 1,000 in attendance there.

There’s a bloke in front of me in family stand who berates everyone for going early yet never ever sings once, what a dick! You’d think the family stand would want to sing but you try and get something going and no fker joins in. I’m 63 and will sing all match and it’s quite pathetic the support we get these days

It was absolutely woeful mate. Boxing Day is one of the traditional big exciting atmospheres of the season across the country.

Apart from an audible cringey ‘we’ve scored a goal, we’ve scored a goal, we’ve scored a goal, we’ve scored a goal, we’ve scored a goal’ from 115. I don’t remember hearing them all game.

Although, SSL3 had a bit of a go in the first half and the back half of 117 did sing for a lot of the second half. Fair play to them.

Careful - you’ll have the “People leaving early is none of your fucking business” crowd on your back mate. Actually, I see it’s already started!

12.30 kick-offs are notoriously shit for atmosphere. I thought the Villa fans were quiet for the most part last Saturday, and Newcastle fans too earlier in the season. However, I think if Bernardo had put that chance away yesterday to make it 2-0, it would’ve been a lot better. Everton fans turn up in great numbers everywhere they go but aren’t the loudest fanbase. However, yesterday they had the run of the place in the second half.

Leicester should be a decent away day. The atmosphere is always great in the City end at their gaff. Hopefully I don’t get fucked over by train cancellations!
 
The official attendance will most likely be over 52k so the club won't be in remorse about the pricing.

If you make noise you don't hear much of what is going on around you.

The match was sold out in August and some of the seats were basically sold twice because they were sold to new customers at higher prices. There will always be no shows. Not defending this but it is the reality.
 
12.30 kick off on boxing day was never ever going to be a lively one anywhere, we drew the short straw in that. playing sleep inducing football isnt going to help either. You can always tell there's outside influences impacting the atmosphere by the away fans, didn't hear a single peep from Everton until they scored.

Dickheads that booed at the end can fuck right off, it was abysmal on the pitch but you never boo, it will never help anything and will only lead to piss poor negative perceptions of our fanbase. Most people that booed, it was the first noise they made in 90 minutes. Just fuck off home in silence if you're not happy.

I don’t go these days so it’s hard to comment, but I will on the booing. Absolutely disgusting to be honest.
