If we're honest there starting to become that way,,I'm in the cheap seats,,ssl3,,I'll never give that ticket up,,but what normal dad and lad or lads can afford the other prices anymore ,it's not just city ,most clubs are just taking the piss now
They've stolen our game and made it expensive and boring as fuck, leave em to it

I agree with you mate.

The South stand were out sung by 2 young kids behind me in 209, in the first half.

I do t like all this xenophobia from some other posters blaming tourists. It was a big game and we weren’t up for it.

Tim.

Where they Capo kids?

It might have been the last throws of a cup. That's the difference. It wasn't a dead rubber
At no point tonight did I not think we weren’t going to win tonight. Even when they scored. They were a really poor outfit.

It genuinely felt like the early rounds of the EFL or FA Cup. You go out if you lose those n’all but it just had that same feel.

It was decent in spells, quiet in others. It was full of tourists around me and they did their bit joining in with the anthems. Many times songs died a death because there were two different ones going at once or they couldn’t be made out above the away fans. It was a good example of an atmosphere that would have been miles better with one singing end.

They weren’t a poor oufit. You must have watched a different game? They caused City loads of problems. They had plenty of chances in-front of goal. They played plenty of slick attacking football and defended well. They would do OK in the PL.

Absolutely flat. Where were the regulars in the South Stand? Loads of people were trying to sing but you need one end to sing, and then everyone joins in.

I thought it was going to be rocking but it was one of the worst atmospheres of the season. We have too many fans. The regulars know the songs, but if they don't turn up it doesn't work.

The atmosphere was excellent vs Chelsea. Completely different tonight and this was a much bigger game.

Heres something radical they could try ,why don't they do something like, cheap tickets for the 16-25 age group with a Manchester postcode
I would make at least a cpl off thousand available grouped together in the new stand , I know they won't and this new stand will just become an embarrassment in some games because they will sell to the highest bidder there really is a chance to do something good with this , but we all know they won't

It was absolute bedlam around me with little kids. Ands lot of people trying to sing but no one end singing so songs never got going.

They only had two more shots against us than Salford did. They passed the ball crisply in spells, looked well coached, worked hard defensively sitting deep, but had poor players. I’ve not left that game massively impressed with Brugge like when Brentford left the Etihad or Fulham.

A much bigger game? You are right because of the financial rewards for the club. But for me, and obviously quite a few other seasoncard holders, European football does not hold the same appeal.
Playing Bruges midweek in a bloated Champions League group game will never be bigger than playing a competitive Chelsea team on a Saturday afternoon. I’m glad the tourists don’t agree
